Shopping at Trader Joe’s? Well here are 9 Trader Joe’s products you NEED to try! These are my staple items that I always have on hand and think you should too. Enjoy!
Who doesn’t love a good Trader Joe’s shopping day? I think it is actually one of my favorite activities haha I love walking down the aisles looking at all the new and interesting items they have. The employees are super friendly, and the Trader Joe’s flowers always brighten my day!
Over time, I have realized that there are a handful of Trader Joe’s foods that I ALWAYS have stocked in my kitchen. Although Trader Joe’s is constantly coming out with new and seasonal items, these nine items I can’t live without! They are some of my favorite Trader Joe’s products, and I think you will love them too.
Check out my favorite Trader Joe’s Products below!
1. EVERYTHING BUT THE ELOTE SEASONING BLEND
This seasoning is everything! It is spicy and cheesy, and gives the perfect elote flavor to anything! It is great at giving your dish a Mexican flair. I absolutely LOVE putting this on my avocado toast. I can no longer eat my avocado toast any other way!
2. CAULIFLOWER GNOCCHi
Most everyone knows about Trader Joe’s cauliflower gnocchi by now. I think this is one of the best Trader Joe’s frozen food items to date! It’s incredible how Trader Joe’s has turned something so decadent, such as gnocchi, into something relatively healthy! The gnocchi does have a slight cauliflower taste, so if that is not your thing beware. My favorite way to make this gnocchi is in the air fryer. I first microwave the gnocchi for about 1.5 minutes to help thaw. Then I toss the gnocchi in some olive oil, salt, and pepper and place them in the air fryer at 380 degrees for about 8 minutes. They come out crispy like tater tots. It is amazing! Dunk them in whatever condiment you like. I prefer tzatziki.
3. CHICKEN CILANTRO MINI WONTONS
These chicken cilantro mini wontons are a staple in my freezer because they are simply so convenient and easy to make. Whenever I need a quick dinner idea, I pull these out and pair them with some stir-fry vegetables. I like these Trader Joe’s wontons in particular, because they are bite-sized and packed with flavor. Add some coconut aminos and Thai chili sauce and you will have a yummy meal in less than 20 minutes.
4. SWEET APPLE CHICKEN SAUSAGE
I love these chicken sausages from Trader Joe’s. They have a couple of different flavors, but the sweet apple is my favorite! It reminds me of fall. These can be easily kept in the freezer and taken out for a last-minute meal. They are so versatile too. Slice and roast them in the oven with some veggies or add them to your favorite pasta dish. If you like spicy foods, try the spicy jalapeno chicken sausage!
5. VEGGIES AND GREENS SALAD KIT
I know what you’re thinking… It’s just another salad kit. But trust me. This salad kit is different. It has the most unique flavors! It combines the flavors of pistachio, pear, honey, and ginger. The actual salad has a nice crunch and the honey ginger dressing is perfection. I love bringing this to work for a quick and healthy lunch.
6. MANGO GINGER CHUTNEY
This mango ginger chutney was recommended to me awhile back as the perfect pairing to the Trader Joe’s vegetable masala burgers. Since then, I have always made sure to have it stocked in my fridge. It is so flavorful and also a bit spicy, which I love. It tastes amazing on those masala burgers, but also tastes great on chicken and pork. I even like adding it to my veggies for a sweet and spicy kick.
7. RAW CREAMY ALMOND BUTTER
I swear by this almond butter! It is the best! You must make sure to get the RAW, not ROASTED kind. The raw almond butter has a much better flavor than the roasted in my opinion! I know you can buy almond butter most anywhere, but finding raw is harder and it is usually way overpriced. I always keep this stocked in my pantry, so I can add it to my smoothies, oatmeal, protein pancakes, banana toast, and more.
8. FROZEN CRUSHED GARLIC AND GINGER
These frozen garlic and ginger cubes make life so easy. How many times does a recipe call for fresh ginger or garlic and you don’t have it on hand? Well keep these in your freezer and you will always be prepared. One cube is equal to 1 tsp crushed ginger or one garlic clove. Just throw it in your warm pan and it will melt down instantly. I also like to throw the frozen ginger cubes into my smoothies for some immune-boosting benefits.
9. MINI MILK CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER CUPS
Lastly, I needed to share one of my go-to sweet treats from Trader Joe’s. They have so many fun chocolates to try, but these are always my favorite. I love that they are bite-sized, so you can take a handful. The proportion of peanut butter to chocolate is so much better than a standard Reese’s cup. Watch out though, they can be addicting!
There you have it! My 9 go-to Trader Joe’s products I always have on hand. What are some of yours? I’d love to know in the comments! Also, stayed tuned for some more Trader Joe’s posts like my favorite Trader joe’s snacks, the best Trader Joe’s recipes, etc!
