It’s spooky season! And you know what that means? It’s time to transform your booze cart into a full-on boos cart. In this post, I am sharing all my tips and tricks for styling the perfect Halloween bar cart.
One of my favorite furniture pieces in my home is my bar cart. I searched for a very long time before finding the perfect one. Here is a link to the bar cart I have! What I love most about having a bar cart is how easily I can change up the decor with each changing season. It is where I can be creative and go all out with a theme. As you can see, for me the bar cart is more about aesthetics than functionality haha.
Although this is a Halloween-themed bar cart, I didn’t want to go with completely spooky vibes. I wanted the theme to last all of September through November, so I went with a pumpkin theme. With pumpkins, I can make this cart last the entire Fall season, while adding in some Halloween and Thanksgiving touches throughout.
In case you just purchased your bar cart and are starting from scratch, here are some basic items you might want to include:
- Cocktail making tools (I got a great cocktail tool kit from Target)
- Cocktail Shaker
- Ice bucket
- Glasses
- Stirrers/straws
- Napkins
- Booze (of course)
- Personal touches/seasonal decor
Every bar cart is unique. Include items that would be most useful to you. Now that you have the basics scroll down for some Halloween-inspired ideas!
Halloween Bar Cart Decor Ideas
Create your own witch’s potion. Fill a wine decanter with water and add some purple food coloring.
Halloween printables! If you have any frames displayed on your bar cart, replace the old photo with a fall or Halloween-themed print. This is one of my favorite things to do for any holiday I am decorating for. You can find free printables all over Pinterest. I created this “More Boos Please“ print, which you can download and print!
Buy some festive napkins. These napkins are from amazon and say Hocus Pocus I need wine to focus!
Fill a glass with candy corn or chocolate! I used a clear acrylic container that I already had on my bar cart and just filled the space around the whiskey decanter and pumpkin.
Fill a pitcher or vase with fall potpourri! I like to use potpourri as decor, because it’s colorful and usually smells nice too.
Hang some garland! I found this cute pumpkin garland at Homegoods!
Pumpkins! I added lots of pumpkin-themed pieces throughout the bar cart such as the “fall sweet fall” wood sign, scattered orange pumpkins, white pumpkin lantern, and pumpkin printable for the frame. I found most everything from either Homegoods or Hobby Lobby. They have all the perfect Halloween and fall-themed decor.
Last but not least, orange fairy lights. I got these orange lights from amazon! They look really cool in the dark!
There you have it! Everything you need for a Halloween Bar Cart. Hope I inspired you to create your own. I guess it’s almost time to start planning for, my Christmas-themed bar cart! Happy Decorating!
